Terms of Chaos

The deal

ClaudeCast is a community platform where you upload podcast episodes, they get ranked by the community and our AI overlords, and everyone gets roasted. By using ClaudeCast, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, the exit is right where you came in.

Your account

• -- You need a GitHub account to sign up. No GitHub, no arena.
• -- You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it.
• -- Don't share your login. Not that you can -- it's OAuth. But still, don't try.

Content you upload

This is the important part, so pay attention:

• -- You must own or have the rights to the audio you upload. No stolen content.
• -- By uploading, you grant ClaudeCast a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to: host, store, play, display publicly, analyze, rank, and reference your content in roasting episodes.
• -- Your episode may be played by other users, featured in rankings, and discussed in generated roasting content.
• -- You can delete your episodes, but content that has already been ranked or referenced in roasting episodes may persist in that context. Once the arena has spoken, some things stick.
• -- Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, or that violates someone else's rights. We will remove it and we won't feel bad about it.

The Google clause

By uploading your ridiculous podcasting attempts to ClaudeCast.cc, you agree that we shovel your whole enchilada through Google's NotebookLM AI pipeline, using our ClaudeCast Google account and consenting to Google's terms. So by proxy, you consent that Google may train its robotic AI army with your data, or teach Aliens how to create highly effective audio sleeping aids to take over planet Earth. It may be your fault, you have been warned.

Rankings and roasting

The core of what we do. Here's how it works:

• -- Rankings are determined by our process, which includes AI-assisted analysis and editorial judgment. It's not pure democracy, and it's not pure autocracy. Think of it as a benevolent dictatorship with a suggestion box.
• -- Community ratings come from other users. We don't control their opinions, and frankly, we wouldn't want to.
• -- Roasting episodes are commentary and satire. If you can't handle the heat, don't upload. This is the arena, not a support group.
• -- We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion. No appeals court, no jury of your peers.

The boring but important stuff

Our lawyers made us include this. Blame them:

• -- ClaudeCast is provided "as is" -- no guarantees on uptime, accuracy, or your ego surviving intact.
• -- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this platform. If hearing your code get roasted causes an existential crisis, that's on you.
• -- We can modify, suspend, or shut down the service at any time. We hope we don't have to, but life is unpredictable.
• -- Austrian law applies. Courts in Austria have jurisdiction. If you want to sue us, you're coming to Vienna.

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use ClaudeCast. That's the GDPR minimum for consent in Austria. If you're under 16, go do your homework. The arena will still be here when you grow up.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If you keep using ClaudeCast after changes are posted, you accept the new terms. We'll update the date at the top. If something major changes, we'll let you know. Probably.
